Coal slurry generally refers to the semi-solid material formed by the moisture content of coal powder, which is a product in the coal production process. Depending on the variety and formation mechanism, its properties and usability vary greatly. There are many types of coal slurry with a wide range of uses. The depth and breadth of coal processing are rapidly developing, and the production of coal slurry has significantly increased. The comprehensive utilization of coal slurry has become an urgent problem that needs to be solved.


The coal slurry dryer is a new type of coal slurry specialized drying equipment developed based on the characteristics of coal slurry on the basis of the drum dryer. It is a very mature drying equipment produced by mining equipment manufacturers, suitable for drying coal slurry, sludge, magnetic, heavy, and floating concentrates of metal and non-metal minerals in the coal mining industry, as well as clay in the cement industry and other industries. Its characteristics are high productivity and easy operation.


Working principle: Coal slurry itself has high humidity and high adhesiveness. During the drying process, wet coal slurry enters the coal slurry dispersing equipment through a belt conveyor. After rapid disintegration, the block shaped coal slurry enters the negative pressure drying machine and is divided into the following four working areas: first, the guide area. Wet coal slurry enters this area and quickly evaporates a large amount of water after coming into contact with high-temperature negative pressure hot air. Under the action of the large guide angle plate, the coal slurry cannot form a bond and is introduced into the next working area; second, the cleaning area. Wet coal slurry is picked up by the plate in this area to form a material curtain state. When the material falls, it is easy to form a sticky roller wall phenomenon. In this area, due to the equipment design of a cleaning device, the cleaning device can quickly clean up the coal slurry that is stuck to the roller wall. During this process, the cleaning device is responsible for the materials The clumping of balls also plays a role in breaking, thereby increasing the heat exchange area, improving the efficiency of heat and mass transfer, and increasing the drying rate. The third is the inclined lifting plate area, which is a low-temperature drying area where the coal slurry is already in a low moisture loose state and no longer has bonding phenomenon. After heat exchange, the finished product meets the required moisture requirements and moves into the discharge area. The fourth is the discharge area, where the drying host drum does not have a plate, and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port to complete the entire drying process


Advantages: 1. The new internal structure enhances the cleaning and heat conduction of dispersed materials, eliminates the sticking phenomenon on the inner wall of the cylinder, and has stronger adaptability to material moisture and viscosity.

5. The new feeding and discharging device eliminates the phenomena of feeding blockage, discontinuity, unevenness, and return in the drum dryer, reducing the load on the dust removal system.


6. The coal slurry dryer adopts a downstream drying method, where the flue gas and wet materials enter the dryer from the same side. It can use high-temperature flue gas to achieve high evaporation intensity, and the outlet temperature of the dryer is low, resulting in high thermal efficiency.
